Privacy Policy

Attorney review required before launch. This is a comprehensive commercial draft, not legal advice. Applicable law and enforceability vary by jurisdiction; qualified counsel should approve the final publication.

This policy explains how Design Driven Works LLC. handles information for the MetraBench website, account service, early-access program, Windows application, and related support.

Information collected

We collect the minimum information needed for the service: verified account identity and entitlements; early-access email and request date; bounded technical and security records; theme, consent, and remembered-login preferences; and information you deliberately provide in support communications. Solver inputs, results, projects, reports, and reference documents are designed to remain local unless you deliberately export, upload, or share them.

Notice at collection

CategoryPurposeTypical retention
Account identityAuthentication, entitlement, security, and cross-device access.Account life plus a limited security and dispute period.
Early-access emailMaintain the requested contact list and send preview or release information.Until unsubscribe, deletion request, or retirement of the list.
Security recordsPrevent abuse, diagnose failure, and maintain service integrity.Only as reasonably necessary for security and legal duties.

Local engineering data

MetraBench is designed as a local-first application. Solver inputs, calculation results, projects, and reference documents remain on the user's system unless the user deliberately exports or shares them. Account sign-in does not upload engineering project content.

Account information

Google provides a verified account identifier, display name, and email address when a user chooses to sign in. MetraBench stores the minimum account record needed to apply plan and developer permissions across the website and Windows app. MetraBench does not create or store a password.

Sessions and preferences

Revocable session tokens are stored only in protected browser cookies or the operating system credential facility when remembered login is selected. The website may store non-sensitive preferences such as theme choice. Authentication records are not written to engineering projects or reports.

Early access

When you request early access, MetraBench stores the email address you enter and the date of your request so Design Driven Works LLC. can send preview and release information. The form does not collect payment information. Repeated requests update the existing record rather than creating duplicate subscriptions.

Use and disclosure

We use information to operate and secure accounts, apply permissions, respond to requests, prevent prohibited automation, diagnose failures, comply with law, and enforce agreements. Google and bounded hosting, email, and security providers may process the information needed for their assigned services. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or knowingly use it to train third-party AI models.

Cookies and controls

Necessary storage supports sessions, security, theme, and privacy choices. Google Identity Services loads only after functional consent or deliberate enablement. See the Cookie Policy. You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction where applicable; unsubscribe from early access; change cookie choices; or sign out.

Security, retention, and children

We use HTTPS, protected tokens, least privilege, input validation, and bounded security logging. No system is perfectly secure. Records are kept only as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose, security, disputes, and law. The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
